Ingrid Consumer Terms of Use

Our Terms of Use was last updated on May 25, 2026.

Ingrid's delivery experience service is provided by In-Grid AB, reg. no. 556940-2661, Sveavagen 34, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden ("Ingrid", "we", "us" or "our").

These Terms apply when you use Ingrid's delivery experience service as a consumer in connection with a purchase from a merchant that uses Ingrid, or when you otherwise use Ingrid's shopper-facing delivery features. Please read these Terms before using the service. If you do not want to be bound by these Terms, you should not use the Ingrid service features that are presented together with these Terms.

If you have questions about these Terms, you can contact us at support@ingrid.com or through the contact details made available on www.ingrid.com.

1. What these Terms cover

These Terms govern your use of Ingrid's delivery experience service. We provide a delivery experience platform to e-commerce companies and web shops we have partnered with (we refer to them as our "connected merchants"). When you shop with a connected merchant, we may process your personal data in connection with your order, for example to calculate and present delivery options, to fulfil and ship your order, to provide tracking, and to handle returns.

The service helps you interact with delivery-related features in connected merchants' checkouts and other delivery flows. Depending on the merchant and the features available at the time, the service may help you:

These Terms only apply to Ingrid's own service. They do not govern your purchase from the merchant, the product you buy, the merchant's webshop, the payment method you choose, or services provided directly by carriers, payment service providers or other third parties. Those matters are governed by your separate agreement with the relevant merchant, payment provider, carrier or other third party.

2. When you accept these Terms

You accept these Terms when you click to accept them, continue in a flow where they are presented as applicable terms, or otherwise use an Ingrid service feature after having been given access to these Terms. The version of the Terms that applies is the version presented or linked at the time you use the service.

If you use Ingrid in more than one connected merchant checkout, the same Ingrid service relationship may apply across those connected merchants, unless you end your use of Ingrid or delete the relevant saved information.

3. Description of the Ingrid service

Ingrid provides a delivery experience service that sits between connected merchants, delivery options, carriers and shoppers. The purpose of the service is to make the delivery part of online shopping smoother and more relevant for you.

For example, Ingrid may help present delivery options in the checkout, remember delivery details you have provided, suggest your preferred delivery method or pickup point, provide tracking information, support returns-related flows, and send delivery-related messages. The exact features available to you may vary depending on the connected merchant, country, carrier availability, device, and the technical setup used in the relevant checkout or delivery flow.

The Ingrid service is designed to work across connected merchants. This means that information connected to your use of Ingrid with one connected merchant may be used by Ingrid to recognise you and personalise Ingrid-enabled checkout, delivery, tracking and returns flows with other connected merchants.

4. Your purchase remains with the merchant

When you buy a product from a connected merchant, your purchase contract is with that merchant and not with Ingrid. The merchant is responsible for the products it sells, including product information, prices, order confirmation, cancellation rights, complaints about the product, warranties and customer service relating to the sale.

Ingrid does not sell, supply or take responsibility for the products you buy from connected merchants. Ingrid also does not decide whether the merchant accepts your order, whether a product is available, or whether a carrier can complete a particular delivery. Ingrid's role is limited to providing the delivery experience service described in these Terms.

5. Delivery options, carriers and third-party services

The delivery options shown through Ingrid may depend on information from the merchant, carriers, delivery service providers, address validation providers, map providers and other third-party services. Ingrid may also use third-party services to help provide address search, address validation, map functionality, communications, tracking updates and similar features.

When you select a delivery option, the delivery itself is normally performed by a carrier or delivery provider, not by Ingrid. Carrier terms, delivery limitations and local delivery conditions may apply. Delivery times, pickup point availability, delivery prices and other delivery information may change due to circumstances outside Ingrid's control.

If you use a third-party feature through the Ingrid service, such as map, address search, carrier tracking or payment-related functionality, the relevant third party's own terms and privacy information may also apply to that feature.

6. Saved information, personalisation and preferences

If the relevant feature is available, Ingrid may remember information that you provide, that is generated through your use of Ingrid, or that is otherwise connected with your use of Ingrid, so that Ingrid can provide a continuing delivery experience across connected merchants and delivery flows.

As part of this service, Ingrid may maintain a delivery profile for you. This profile may include delivery addresses, contact details, selected delivery methods, pickup point preferences, order information, delivery instructions, delivery and return history, and technical information used to recognise you in future interactions.

Connected merchants and other parties involved in the delivery experience may receive or use information, signals or service outputs from Ingrid where this is part of the Ingrid service or the relevant delivery flow, as further described in Ingrid's Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for checking that any information suggested, filled in or displayed through Ingrid is correct before you complete a purchase or delivery-related action. If information is incorrect or out of date, you should correct it before continuing.

You may be able to manage, update or delete saved information through settings made available in the checkout or in another Ingrid flow. You can also contact Ingrid if you want to stop using Ingrid's saved delivery experience features or ask Ingrid to delete information connected to your use of Ingrid.

7. Privacy and personal data

Ingrid processes personal data described in Ingrid's Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy also explains your rights under data protection law and how you can contact Ingrid about privacy matters.

8. Your obligations

When using Ingrid, you must:

If Ingrid reasonably believes that the service is being misused, or that use of the service creates a legal, security or fraud risk for Ingrid or connected merchants, Ingrid may suspend, limit or stop your use of the service.

10. Availability and changes to the service

Ingrid aims to provide a useful and reliable service, but the service may not always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. Availability may be affected by maintenance, technical issues, third-party services, carrier systems, merchant systems, internet connectivity, security measures, legal requirements or circumstances outside Ingrid's reasonable control.

Ingrid may update, improve, add, remove or change service features from time to time. This may be done to improve the service, add new functionality, maintain security, meet legal requirements, reflect product strategy, or keep the service technically functional.

11. Changes to these Terms

Ingrid may change these Terms from time to time. Changes may be made to reflect service updates, new features, legal or regulatory requirements, security needs, technical changes, or to make the Terms clearer or easier to understand.

If Ingrid makes material changes, Ingrid will take reasonable steps to inform you, for example by updating the date of the Terms, displaying the updated Terms in the service, or contacting you using details available to Ingrid where appropriate. Your continued use of the service after the updated Terms have become effective means that you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept the updated Terms, you should stop using the service.

12. Duration and ending your use

These Terms apply for as long as you use Ingrid's service. You may terminate your agreement with Ingrid at any time by contacting Ingrid or by using any termination or account-closing functionality made available in the service.

Ingrid may suspend, limit or end your access to the service if:

Where reasonably possible, Ingrid will provide advance notice of suspension or termination. Sometimes Ingrid may not be able to give notice, for example because of legal, security, fraud prevention or technical reasons.

13. Right of withdrawal

The Ingrid service is made available digitally and normally starts immediately when you use it in a checkout or other delivery flow. You can stop using the service at any time by contacting us via support@ingrid.com.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under the laws of your country of residence.

14. Electronic communications

Ingrid may provide information, notices and other communications to you electronically, including through the checkout, Ingrid's website, the service interface, email, SMS or other electronic communication channels connected to your use of the service.

15. Intellectual property

Ingrid and its licensors own all rights in the Ingrid service, including software, interfaces, designs, trademarks, logos, text, graphics, data compilations and other content made available by Ingrid, unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer or otherwise exploit the service or its content, except where this is expressly permitted by applicable mandatory law.

If you provide feedback, ideas or suggestions about Ingrid or the service, Ingrid may use them without obligation to compensate you.

16. Limitation of liability

Ingrid provides the service to help improve the delivery experience, but Ingrid is not responsible for the products you buy from connected merchants, the merchant's webshop, the merchant's customer service, the payment method you choose, or the actual carriage and delivery performed by carriers or delivery providers.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable mandatory law, Ingrid is not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data, loss caused by incorrect information provided by you, loss caused by third-party services, or loss caused by circumstances outside Ingrid's reasonable control.

Ingrid does not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable consumer protection law, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

17. Assignment

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms to another person without Ingrid's consent, unless mandatory law gives you that right.

Ingrid may transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms to another company in the same group, or to a third party in connection with a merger, restructuring, financing, sale of assets or transfer of all or part of Ingrid's business, provided that the transfer does not reduce your mandatory consumer rights.

18. Complaints and dispute resolution

If you have a complaint about Ingrid's service, please contact Ingrid first so that Ingrid can try to resolve the issue.

If a dispute cannot be resolved directly with Ingrid, you may have the right to refer the dispute to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, Sweden, www.arn.se. ARN provides recommendations on consumer disputes. Ingrid will consider any recommendation from ARN in accordance with applicable law and good business practice.

You may also have rights under mandatory consumer protection rules in the country where you have your habitual residence.

19. Governing law and courts

These Terms are governed by Swedish law. However, if you live in another country, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protection rules that apply in your country of habitual residence.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved by the Swedish courts, unless mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim in another forum.

20. Language

These Terms are drafted in English. If Ingrid makes these Terms available in another language and there is a conflict between versions, the English version applies unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
