September 2026: Repairs, Customs and Shopify
One view of every Shopify order, more ways to deliver across Europe, and more.

Offer wash and repair next to returns
Shoppers can book a wash or a repair in the same place they start a return.
Each service is priced on its own, and shoppers get a confirmation email once their booking is registered. Retailers follow every wash and repair parcel in the returns portal, filter by service and see what happened to each one when it arrives. Service bookings are kept separate from return statistics, so return figures only reflect returns.
Protect duty relief on cross-border returns
Retailers can set the customs value for each returned item, so the return declaration can match the one made at export. That match is what protects relief from paying duty or VAT a second time on goods coming back.
Ingrid declares the value to the carrier exactly as entered, with no tax deducted and no currency conversion, instead of a value based on the item's price. It's sent with the order, or added in the returns portal when a return is missing customs information, and works with every returns carrier in Ingrid that takes a customs value.
Show richer product details after a headless checkout
Extra product details sent with a headless checkout carry through to the tracking page and post-purchase emails, so shoppers see more about the items they're waiting for.
Retailers on the Headless Checkout API send these details the same way as in the Promise API, so an existing setup can be reused. That closes a gap for retailers moving to headless or Kustom integrations. For now, the details aren't included in webhooks.
Secure tracking webhooks with OAuth
Tracking updates can flow from Ingrid straight into retailers' own systems through webhooks secured with OAuth, a standardized authentication method.
That opens tracking webhooks to retailers whose security requirements call for OAuth, particularly enterprise retailers.
Show every pickup point on one map in Shopify
Shoppers on headless Shopify stores can see nearby pickup points from several carriers together on one map, and choose the location that suits them without picking a carrier first. It's the same location-first experience Ingrid's own widget offers.
Each point carries its carrier's logo, with options like PostNord and DHL grouped into one delivery category. Behind the scenes, Ingrid matches the chosen location to the right carrier, so booking and labels work as before, with no drop in speed.
Track Shopify orders placed outside Ingrid checkout
Marketplace orders and other orders that never went through an Ingrid checkout can be tracked alongside the rest, giving retailers one view of tracking across all their Shopify orders.
With a new setting in the Shopify app, Ingrid creates tracking for each of these orders when it's fulfilled. Orders from an Ingrid checkout work exactly as before, and fulfillment carries on as normal even if tracking can't be set up for an order.
Flag business orders at Shopify checkout
Orders from business buyers are tagged at Shopify checkout, so retailers can set delivery rules in Ingrid by buyer type.
When a shopper enters a company name, the Shopify app gives the order a B2B tag. Retailers can use it to give business buyers their own delivery options, without any extra integration work.
Manage delivery and tracking in one app
Tracking settings have joined the Ingrid app at app.ingrid.com, giving retailers one place to manage delivery next to checkout and dashboards. It follows Transport's move into the app in August.
Deliveries, carrier contracts and tracking settings sit side by side, and dashboards are in the main navigation, with several open in tabs.
Send customs data into Northern Norway
Retailers delivering into Northern Norway with Bring and PostNord can send the detailed customs data that NVIT requires. NVIT, Norwegian Goods in Transit, is a new requirement from Norwegian Customs and the EU.
Qualifying deliveries carry an HS tariff code, weight, quantity and goods description for each line item, so they can be classified properly as they transit.
See the NVIT customs data guide.
Run Instabox, Budbee and Porterbuddy on one API
Instabox, Budbee and Porterbuddy run through one unified Instabee integration in Ingrid, replacing the three separate integrations they had before. That means simpler credentials and access to all new Instabee development, which ships only on this API.
Existing retailers keep their current setup and move over gradually.
Deliver from Sweden across Europe
Retailers delivering from Sweden can reach shoppers' homes across Europe with DSV System Home, a B2C home delivery service connecting Sweden with the rest of Europe. SMS pre-notice is available as an add-on.
Offer courier pickup returns in Sweden
Returns within Sweden can be collected by courier, with nothing for the shopper to print. CityMail Returns books a pickup on a date the retailer sets, across three return products.
Pickup times are confirmed through CityMail, and shoppers write a pickup code on the package instead of using a label or QR code.
Send B2B deliveries from Sweden to Europe
Business deliveries from Sweden to the rest of Europe get a door-to-door option with DHL Freight Parcel Connect Plus, supported across checkout, booking and tracking.
Add WeGrow delivery and returns across Europe
WeGrow, a Netherlands-based fulfillment and delivery platform, brings home delivery, pickup points, letterbox and returns to Ingrid for the European market, across both Economy and Premium service tiers.
Personalize return terms to each shopper
Return conditions and fees can follow each shopper's history, so a first-time buyer and a regular shopper don't have to get the same terms. The guide to personalized return terms walks through how to set them up.
See the personalized return terms guide.
Fit the address form to each country
Ingrid's address form can match how addresses work in each country. Field order, length and required fields can be set per country, while other parts follow the shopper's locale. The guide walks through what can be configured.
