Dynamic sorting is a feature that Ingrid currently doesn't support, but it holds the potential to significantly enhance the delivery experience. Presently, Ingrid only supports manual static sorting.
This idea revolves around sorting the available checkout options dynamically based on specific circumstances. This can include sorting by:
- The cheapest option at the top of the checkout.
- The most expensive option at the bottom of the checkout.
- The fastest option at the top of the checkout.
- The slowest option at the bottom of the checkout.
- The most sustainable option at the bottom of the checkout.
- The option that's cheapest for the merchant at the bottom of the checkout.
- Consumer-preferred options.
- Smart Ingrid sorting, and more.
Merchants have the authority to determine how the checkout options should be sorted and configure it within Ingrid.
How It Works
When a consumer provides their postal code, delivery options can be sorted based on the choices made by the merchant. Additionally, consumers should have the flexibility to re-sort delivery options based on different parameters, ensuring they have control over their preferred criteria.
This dynamic sorting capability can greatly improve the delivery experience, making it more tailored to individual needs and preferences.
